1. Who we are
This website is run by ELLO Studios. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us at hello@ellostudios.co.uk.
2. What we collect
If you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, your phone number or email address, the time that suits you and the message you write. If you speak to us on a call, we may note down what you tell us about your project.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to book a call with you.
- To prepare a quote and carry out your project if you choose to work with us.
- To keep records of our work, as the law requires.
We use your details because you asked us to get in touch, to take steps at your request before a contract, and for our legitimate interest in running our business. We never sell your details and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
4. Who sees it
Your message passes through your own email provider and ours. We may also use trusted services to run our business, such as email, accounting and file storage. They may only use your details to provide that service to us.
When you send the contact form, your message goes from this website to us as a phone notification and an email, using a free notification service called ntfy. The service passes the message on to us and may keep it for a short time to deliver it. We do not keep your message on this website itself.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them. If we work together, we keep business records for as long as the law requires, which is usually six years.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our font is stored on this website and is not loaded from another company. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your permission where the law requires it.
7. Links to other websites
Our Work page links to websites we have built for clients. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a form you can move elsewhere. To use any of these rights, email us.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will change the date at the top of this page when we do.
